  • About the Client

    Phillips Brewing & Malting Co. is a well-known Victoria, BC craft brewer that founded iOTA non-alcoholic craft beer in 2021.

    iOTA was created on the idea that great tasting craft beer doesn't have to be defined by its alcohol content.

    They brew their Non-Alc beers the same way that they do all of their Phillips beers: by brewing delicious, full flavoured craft beer, then removing the alcohol. No funny business.

  • What We Did

    The strategy focuses on building local and national brand awareness through targeted influencer and media seeding, media relations around key moments (product launches, Dry January, Sober October), event sponsorships with in-kind donations, and influencer-led campaigns.

    These include UGC-style social content and seasonal activations highlighting partnerships with BC-based events like Public Disco, Bard on the Beach, Rifflandia, and Phillips Backyard.

    We also supported the launch of the world’s first beer-drinking fountain, created by Phillips and iOTA, unveiled at Rifflandia.
